Mulled Wine, Mulled Cider & Mulled Apple Juice.
This is our third year making Mulled Wine Mixes for the Irish public, but we felt that we needed to tell you about the other drinks you can make with it too!
Just in case you didn’t know, our mulled wine mix is a tea-bag which we have filled with a delicious and Winter-warming blend of dried fruits and spices like cinnamon and cloves. It takes all the mess and stress out of making hot drinks for yourself, your family and visitors. Below are instructions on how to make three very different but extremely mouthwatering brews with it!
Where can you get this Mix? Its available nationwide in Super Valu, Dunnes Stores and O’ Briens Fine Wines. Oh, and also, we donate 10% to the Dog Action Welfare Group. Have a look at this years video on youtube…. here’s the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gMWnS1DfEc&feature=youtu.be
1 Simplee Mulled Wine Mix
2 bottles of red wine (no need to buy anything fancy)
a shot or two of whiskey (optional, but yummy)
Pour the wine into a large pot. Add the sugar and Mulled Wine Mix.
Heat gently, but do not allow to boil as this will evaporate the alcohol. Keep under a simmer for at least 10 minutes, but the longer the better.
Just before serving, add the whiskey if using.
1 Simplee Mulled WIne Mix
2 litres of cider.
Pour cider into a large pan and add the Mulled Wine Mix.
Heat gently for at least 10 minutes. The longer you leave it, the stronger the flavour will be. Do not allow to boil as this will evaporate the alcohol.
Serve and enjoy!
Mulled Apple Juice.
This one is fantastic for children or for anyone who doesn’t drink. Also a great option for drivers!
2 litres of any apple juice.
1 Simplee Mulled Wine Mix.
Pour the apple juice into a large pan and add the Mulled Wine Mix.
Heat gently for at least 10 minutes, but the longer the better.
Serve and enjoy!
